I’m feeling it. I’m feeling hotter…literally (and, NO, it’s not menopause). With Summer 2021 beginning to feel like it’s going to be a scorcher, thoughts suddenly turn to hopeful imaginings of sandy toes, pristine waters and sunburned noses.
As a wife, mom, reluctant homeschool teacher, defacto interior designer, handywoman, “all-around maker of all things” (or so my 7-year-old daughter thinks), time is precious. I totally get it. As a mom of 3 kids, subconsciously stockpiling these precious time-saving tidbits along the way gave way to Simple Not Simple—a busy woman’s survival guide of useful shortcuts, inspiring Christian lessons, easy style how-to segments, wife/mom insights, DIY hacks, informative in-depth pieces with bits of the joyous nostalgic 80s sprinkled throughout (hey, why not?).
I hope you’ll stay awhile. Take a well-deserved breather on a comfy couch and browse, muse, hopefully take away a helpful nugget (or two) that will make your life a little bit easier as you dive right back into the world of kids, jobs, homeschool, household chores, laundry, and grocery-runs. (I know, I need to pick up a few things too!).
