We all have them…travel souvenirs, graduation knickknacks, baby mementos, hotel keycards, dog-eared maps, leftover change from around the world and other nostalgic touchstones we can’t seem to get rid off.

A fun project to finally clear out those cluttered drawers and organize those priceless memories to create an art gallery of memoirs worthy of the Louvre…well, in our eyes anyway.

Simple Not Simple

As a wife, mom, reluctant homeschool teacher, defacto interior designer, handywoman, “all-around maker of all things” (or so my 7-year-old daughter thinks), time is precious. I totally get it. As a mom of 3 kids, subconsciously stockpiling these precious time-saving tidbits along the way gave way to Simple Not Simple—a busy woman’s survival guide of useful shortcuts, inspiring Christian lessons, easy style how-to segments, wife/mom insights, DIY hacks, informative in-depth pieces with bits of the joyous nostalgic 80s sprinkled throughout (hey, why not?).

I hope you’ll stay awhile. Take a well-deserved breather on a comfy couch and browse, muse, hopefully take away a helpful nugget (or two) that will make your life a little bit easier as you dive right back into the world of kids, jobs, homeschool, household chores, laundry, and grocery-runs. (I know, I need to pick up a few things too!).

Let this be a shot of faith-filled, fun-filled caffeine for your soul. A quick pick-me-up. An escape (squeezed in between prepping the family’s next meal and doing the laundry) to get you through the repetitive, the complicated, the breakneck bullet train of the not-so-simple life we’re on.
